School is supposed to prepare children for the real world, not confuse them about the simplest things in life. We need to return to focusing on reading, writing, math and the practical skills that provide a stable foundation for their future.

quality education
The primary focus of school should be to prepare children with the knowledge they need for the real world. Too many children are graduating without the skills they need to navigate the complex world in which we live.
age appropriate learning
Child development sets the stage for life as an adult. How and what children learn at specific ages plays a significant role in their later life. Introducing adult subjects to young children is harmful and has no place in our schools.
parental involvement
It is critical to the safety of children that parents are involved and aware of what happens at school. While there are exceptions, children are overwhelmingly safer when there is a high level of parental involvement.
school choice
With the focus on providing the best education for children, money should follow the student. School decisions should be made by the parents on what is best for the student, and the money should follow.
Hava Laudon is the Owner of Mantle Financial Solutions. She has a B.S. in Ministry Leadership from Moody Bible Institute. She has spent over a decade in various roles in anti-trafficking including research, volunteering, and as a director of an anti-trafficking non-profit. She also served three years doing volunteer work at a short-term residential counseling center. Hava has studied psychology, counseling, and trauma recovery. She has also conducted group trauma-recovery workshops.
While working with trauma survivors, Hava became acutely aware of the importance of early childhood development. She saw firsthand how survivors spent years trying to undo what was done to them as a child. This converted the passion she felt for rescuing human trafficking survivors to a focus on preventing the trauma that makes children vulnerable to trafficking.
In the past couple years, Hava has become alarmed to see the push to expose young children to adult content—including in schools. Knowing the lasting damage that can result from inappropriate exposure, she has become a champion for protecting childhood innocence.
In 2019, Hava’s dreams of having children of her own were shattered when years of a bitter health struggle culminated with a hysterectomy. She knew then that her mission was to serve children that were not her own—but needed someone to fight for them. She now supports parents in her circle and is blessed to have many children in her life.
